Clay & Salvaged Material Sculpture
featuring: SHELLEY CLINE

Tribal in nature, my sculpture is a combination of clay and salvaged materials. Each piece tells a story to be read and visually interpreted by the viewer. There are no beginnings and no endings to these stories -- they simply represent the essence of the spirit and convey the South African philosophy of Ubuntu: "I am what I am because of who we all are."
The names of the pieces (the sculpture photographed outside: 2 at left):
Asim Bomani (translates to "protector warrior")
The sculpted head (Shelley is working on) is called:
Nyawela (translates to "on a journey")
